An Anime Blog: Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

Dear Blog,

I finished watching a romance/comedy/drama anime entitled Dusk Maiden of Amnesia.. The main focus of this anime is the boy named Teichii. This boy had an encountered with a ghost called Yuuko-san. This ghost is a "she" and she was the mysterious ghost residing in the school building wherein Teichii is studying.. Their fateful encounter with each other deepens and there's a love relationship developed between the two of them..

Yeah, it sounds "fantasy" and fictional but you can see the funny element in having a person/ghost relationship.. Even I can find myself enjoying the lovey-dovey scenes because there is this "hotness" element such as some erotic moments.. (If you know what I mean..) Another funny moment in this series is the ghost hunting portion that the protagonists do.. Well you see, Techii created a Paranormal Investigation Club in order to investigate the reason behind Yuuko's existence in the school. You see.. Almost all of the ghost stories surrounding Teichii's school has a connection to Yuuko.. Teichii and the gang are trying to unlock the mysteries behind it.. And one part of their duties is the "joke time" investigation. Why? Just watch it..

One of my favorite portions

Ah! I remembered.. One thing that enjoys me is the portion wherein Yuuko moves while the other characters can't see her. The footage first show the scene wherein Yuuko moves but her appearance was not shown to the viewers. Then, the footage will replay back or simultaneously show the appearance of Yuuko while doing all of her movements.. Just watch it, if you can't grasp my instructions or descriptions..

By the way other characters include;
1) Kirie
2) Okonogi

So, for the positive things that I will mention..
1) Animation... Good drawings on the characters.. Good drawing especially for Yuuko.. She is beautiful.. 5/5
2) Good plot.. The story starts from a light side and then the main conflict comes.. The main conflict is between Yuuko and the shadow Yuuko.. The conflict was later solved and the story shifts to the next conflict wherein Yuuko can no longer remain on earth because she finished her mission.. Sort of that.. It ended in happy note after the heavy drama portion in the middle of the last episode.. Overall, good story.. 4/5

Some negatives..
1) Okonogi.. I hate that Girl.. Well, this is personal thoughts but I hate her mannerisms and her appearance..

Hahaha! That's the sales talk.. Just watch it if you want to divert from the common shounen type animes..

Dear Blog: I'm just a shadow

Dear Blog,

I was asking myself why I have a low self confidence.. Bakit ako minsan nawawalan ng kumpyansa sa aking sarili.. I am feeling this kind of thing whenever I encounter a person who knows a lot of people.. Yung kahit saan magpunta maraming kakilala.. Yung maraming friends.. Maraming mga kung anek anek.. Inside of me, there is this little amount of sadness and jealously.. Imagine, may mga taong effortless kung makipag-interact sa iba.. especially those who have a better status than you are.. (You can think of as many possible examples as you can) Sa case ko naman.. isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit ako nalulungkot is that I don't have that guts.. Yung guts na makipagsocialize sa iba, makipag-usap sa crush na walang halong malisya.. Paro yung latter part talaga yung pinaka main point ng article na to... You see, I have difficulties in dealing with other people, especially to the one that I like.. That's the main point of this article..

So, Bakit ganon? It's just that I AM A SHADOW... Always located on other people's backs.. I don't usually noticed by other people because I am on the back of others.. People will only notice me when I am introduced to them by the people they knew.. Parang kapag kasama mo yung isang popular person, design ka lang.. Mapapakilala ka lang kapag, pinakilala ka.. Ganon kasi akong type ng tao.. Ang drama no? But, that's what I am feeling right now... Screw that... This is a tirade..

I'm asking myself how to get myself somewhat an interesting kind of person.. Maybe it's the personality.. If you have a strong personality, you have a strong confidence on yourself... Easy to answer right,? but difficult to put it into action... Madaling sabihin ng isang tao na magbabago siya, pero may mga bagay talga na pumipigil sayo para gawin ang lahat ng gusto mong "pagbabago"..

Naisip-isip ko lang na isa sa mga bagay na pumipigil sayo ay ang image mo... Yeah.. Image.. What if kung sa pagbabago mo ay naging from ok to bad... Naging mas malala ang itsura mo sa tao.. What if things will go from bad to worse? Then, its a failure.. DAMN... Kaya nga minsan parang useless din ang ganitong pagpuna sa sarili kasi wala rin naman akong will para magbago ng tuluyan...

Nagtatatanong-tanong ako sa mga kakilala ko about sa matter na to.. Ang sabi nila sa kin, wag daw ako magbabago.. I told my friends about how to deal this kind of matter.. And they told me that, I should't change.. Why? Because my personality is my personality.. It's just crazy to pattern yourself to others.. You'll only end up being a motherf'ng clone... You will be a copycat.. And I said to myself... Yeah, they've got a point... Bakit ko nga gagayahin ang iba? eh meron naman akong sariling akin... Bahala sila sa buhay nila.. Parang ganon...

OK... Dahil sa ganong ideas nagkakaroon ng clash of ideas within me.. Hindi ko alam kung anong mananaig.. Pero, one thing's for sure.. I HAVE FRIENDS.. Hindi naman naging miserable ang buhay ko.. May mga kaibigan ako, in fact marami din pero katulad ng sabi ko... sa crush ko ako nawawalan ng self confidence.. Dahil doon, gusto kong maging katulad ng mga taong malakas ang personality.. Pero, who knows kung anong mangyayari... I don't have a miserable life, in fact I have lots of friends.. But, my main problem is interaction... Let's see what will happen... Will I change.. in order to have a self-confidence interacting with other people especially to the person I like or will I wait for the time to flow of the fate to move?

Naiisip ko lang... Ibang topic na yata yung pakikipag-deal sa "crush" mo..

Back to the main topic... I'm just a shadow... And when you're a shadow, you're like batman... And when you're batman, you're the Dark Knight.. And when you're the Dark knight... RISES!!! (Ano raw? Just another punchline from me..)

Well, kung katulad mo ako.. That's life pare... Hindi natin alam kung bakit.. pero ganon talga... Go with the flow..

An Anime Blog: Fate/Zero

I returned on watching the action type of anime.. This time I watched and finished Fate/Zero.. It is composed of two seasons and by the time I am creating this entry, I finished the second season thus, the series has ended..

Saber (Arthuria Pendragon)

Of course, the main focus of this anime is the battle for the Holy Grail.. There is this magical battle royale between 7 masters with their 7 servants.. There are the Saber, Lancer, Caster, Berserker, Archer, Rider and Assassin types.. The main focus of the story is the Saber servant King Arthur and her master Kiritsugu Emiya.. Yeah, "her" why? It's because of the gender bending nature of this anime.. I don't know why but the King Arthur in this anime is named Arthuria... For me, I find that gender bending plot in the anime cool..

So, as the story progresses, you will find killings between the servants and the masters.. All of the fight scenes are jampacked.. As expected of the shonen type anime.. But the one thing that gives the coolest impression is the method in which the main protagonist Kiritsugu operates.. You see, he is a participant in this Holy Grail War but he acts like an observer/outsider. He used a decoy master in order to conceal his true identity as a participant.. Then, as the battles were held using magic, he uses guns, grenades and other mechanical devices in fighting meaning he uses the illegal methods resulting to him outsmarting his opponents.. There's this particular scene in the anime wherein he used his brains in order to outwit one of his opponents. It's the scene between him and the Lancer's master.. In that particular scene, they created a contract that Kiritsugu will not kill the Lancer's master in exchange of Lancer committing suicide.. After the deal was done, the Lancer's master was killed by Kiritsugu's assistant meaning they outsmarted the poor guy.. That was a WOW moment.. I said to myself, OH F'N YEAH!! Long? Sorry... I got my emotions got the best of me..

Kiritsugu Emiya

Here are some of the good points that I collected..

1. Characters.. Aside from Kiritsugu, there are many characters with different personalities.. Example of it is Kotomina Kirei.. He is one hell of villain.. He is person with no goal in life or rather an empty person.. Aside from the one I mentioned some of the most interesting characters include; Saber, Tokiomi Tohsaka, Rider (Alexander The Great) and Archer (Gilgamesh).. It's kinda interesting to watch the nature of their characters.. 4/5

2. Animation... Like what I said in my previous entries, Before I watched an anime, I look in the poster and screen shots if they're good... And this one is really good.. Even its predecessor Fate/Stay Night has good animation during the year 2006.. 4/5

3. Plot.. The whole Holy Grail War is an awesome plot device.. But aside from the war itself, there are some back stories wherein you will find the past of Kiritsugu.. It's a lonely story and if you're going to ask me, it moved my heart.. I felt the loneliness.. I mean it's good.. Aside from the plot, there's this betrayal portion and what I said earlier the Awesomeness of the brains of Kiritsugu..  4/5

4. Connection with Fate/Stay Night... To all the hardcore fans out there... You will find the connection between the Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night. Of course, Fate/Zero is the prequel of Fate/Stay Night... It's fun to watch the back stories on Rin, Sakura and Shirou.. 4/5

Some of the negative points..

1. Rider's personality... I find it annoying.. That's all.. hehehe

Well, that's my opinions about Fate/Zero.. It's awesome.. I hope you watch and enjoy it...

An Anime Blog: Korezom: OF THE DEAD

I'm in a marathon mode this past few weeks..

After Queen's Blade Rebellion... Here I am, watching Korezom: Of the Dead..

The main characters

Yeah... This is one of the most entertaining and funniest animes I've watched.. Korezom is divided into two seasons and Of the dead is the second one.. Ever since the first season, this anime is hilarious. Why? It's because of the main character Ayumu who cross dresses into a magical girl... Aside from that, the viewers, especially the boys, have something to look forward to.. This a harem type of anime and I as a viewer kinda like those kind of anime in that genre.. Ayumu is being surrounded by I think five to six girls.. Yeah, he is lucky.. NOTE: THIS IS ONLY A HAREM NOT ECCHI. Bottomline, is it's fun. Not only that, it is comedy...

The Harem

One thing that makes me enjoy this anime is the humor about zombie.. Yeah, as we all knew zombies are the ones who fed with human beings in order to reproduce themselves, something like in the Highschool of the Dead.. In this anime, Ayumu is a zombie but he is not the cliche zombie that we used to watch.. The concept of him being a zombie is funny because it only revolves in the aspect of being undead.. Not only that, is is funny in a sense that he always suffer on gore-film like wounds like being chopped into pieces, stabbed in different parts of the body multiple times, getting hit by a chainsaw and so on..

So here are the positive points that I gather..

1. Story... It's funny to think that you're a guy and you need to cross dress into a magical girl in order to save the world from evil elements known as Meagalos.. And that's what Ayumu did..Thanks to another character named Haruna, Ayumu became a Masou-Shoujo (the magical girl I'm talking about). It's Ok to do that Masou-Shoujo thing only if you will erase the memories of those who watched you.. But that is not the case with Ayumu, he can no longer erase the memories of the people around him because he messed up the main weapon that will do that job.. As a result, he became publicly know.. Yuck!! 5/5 rating

2. The Girls.. Like what I said.. Ayumu is surrounded by 5 to six girls.. There is the Tsundere type, the sweet type, the emotionless type, the cute type... There are many personalities..  4/5 rating

3. Animation.. Of course, I will not watch it if I'm not contented with the drawing and the animation.. Overall it's good.. (Don't blame me... I'm just only watching) 4/5 rating

4. The Villain...The main villain for this series is called Chris.. Chris is a she.. She is not the common type of villain who do, act, speak, think in a evil manner.. Why? Because, she is cute.. Cute in a sense that, you will not thought that she is the villain.. Watch it to understand it..

I think the negative points are..

1. Unsatisfaction... There's a strong feel that there will be a next a season.. So, unfortunately, I'm going to wait for it..

An Anime Blog: Queen's Blade Rebellion

Recently I watched an anime entitled Queen's Blade.. And that is damn good!!

It's good in a sense that it is as anime in the ecchi genre.. Of course, if it is ecchi, there's panty shots.. Are you familiar with panty shots? If no, it's like showing some sexiness in an anime.. (If my own definition is correct) But, this anime is not only about panty shots, it shows T** s men.. I mean T**s... Why, becaused I watched the uncensored version..

You know... it is really hard to find anime with T*t showing scenes, otherwise known as uncensored animes.. Of course, it is nearly-hentai like, that's why there's some censorship.. But, the only difference between Hentai and Uncensored anime is its contents.. (I won't give further details)

As a tradition of creating this kind of blog... I will give some good point in this anime..

1. Animation.. Good 4/5 stars

2. Panty shots... Like what I said earlier..

In my opinion, there are some negative points about this anime.. I'm going to share my thoughts about it..

1. Story... The story is all about girls... There are no male characters... I don't know the background about Queen's Blade but I think it's more exciting if there's a guy who will receive all the blessings in the world... And one more thing, in my opinion, the story has some a little yuri flavor in it.. Yuri is a female-to-female love plot element..

And that's my thoughts about Queen's Blade.. Hope you enjoy watching it...

All that I've said are only my opinions.. Sweat it out whenever you read this kind of article..
